Use Your Phone as a Game Controller

How it works

Open a supported game on a screen, and a QR code and room code appear on the controller-select screen. Scan the QR code with a phone, or enter the room code manually, and the phone pairs to the session over the web via Firebase Realtime Database — no app install required. Up to 4 phones can join one room.

Requirements

• Works entirely over the web — no app to install.
• Any phone with a modern browser can be used as a controller.
• A camera helps for scanning the QR code, but every room also has a manual entry code.
• Both the main screen and the phone need an internet connection.
